What CupChances is

CupChances publishes football probabilities computed from simulations of the remaining matches, together with match data and articles. They are estimates for information and entertainment only — they are not guarantees, and they are not advice for betting or any financial decision.

Match data comes from third-party sources and may be incomplete, delayed or wrong.

Using the site

The site is free to use. Please don't disrupt it — for example by scraping it at a rate that degrades the service, probing for vulnerabilities, or trying to access other people's accounts.

Accounts

Accounts are optional and, for now, invite-only. You sign in with a Google account that has a verified email. You must be at least 16 years old to have an account, and each person may have only one.

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your Google account secure.

Usernames and conduct

Your username is visible to other members. It must not be offensive, impersonate someone else, or suggest it belongs to CupChances. We may change or remove usernames that break this rule.

Invites

Invite links are personal. Don't sell or publish them. We may revoke invite links or limit how many a member can create.

Member features

Member features may be added, changed or discontinued at any time. Some have their own rules, shown inside the member area; those rules form part of these terms.

Content and intellectual property

The site's content — probabilities, charts, articles and design — belongs to CupChances. You may view and share it for personal, non-commercial purposes, and link to any page.

Team names, crests and competition names belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify them.

Suspension and deletion

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can delete your account at any time from Settings; what happens to your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

No warranty; limitation of liability

CupChances is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from decisions made based on its content.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Significant changes will be announced on the site, and continuing to use it after a change means you accept the updated terms.
